Our Methodology

Our Approach to Piano Education

  • Attention to proper hand and overall body position

Which are crucial for playing comfortably and with the right technique.

  • Technical exercises of all kinds

They aim to develop finger strength, agility, coordination, and hand independence.

  • Classical repertoire

Pieces are chosen to target specific technical and musical goals such as phrasing, dynamics, rhythm and articulations.

  • Songs of student’s choice and teacher recommendations

Whether it’s film music, pop, jazz or contemporary songs, we encourage students to choose music they love to keep the lessons inspiring and motivating. The teacher finds an adapted version of the chosen music for the student’s level.

  • Music theory and sight reading

Learning to read notations, understanding rhythm, key signatures, musical patterns, terminologies, etc.

  • Detailed notes for homework and exercises

To do at home between lessons, ensuring consistent progress and reinforcement of concepts learned during the lesson.

  • Opportunity to participate in 3 concerts per year

To encourage self-confidence and gain performance skills.
